Just saw the movie Identity and although I believe it to be physically impossible for the kid to be the murderer ( shoving a baseball bat down someones throat, cutting off someones head) a few things have me stumped. For example, I am confused as to how the timing relates as to the end with the kid about to kill the Amanda Peet character while at the same time the prisoner is mimicking the same words. The prisoner is being transported four years after the event at the motel. The scene with the kid about to kill Peet occurs a few days after the killings at the hotel? I give-- anyone figure that one out? The killer;s multiple personalities make you wonder whether the Ed character existed in the same physical form. It was all a 'treatment' by the doctors to kill off all the personalities except for the real one.
