Let me be frank, this is the stupidest fucking convention.

Ok, first off. What the fuck is with the name of the association? Advancing fat acceptance? WHY DO WE WANT TO ACCEPT FATNESS?

Secondly, since when is being fat, “a natural human characteristic”? It is a form of disease. Overweight and obese people are more prone to heart disease and diabetes. THIS IS A PROVEN FACT.

The national association to advance fat acceptance has the same credibility as the national assocation to advance dope acceptance.

Please, stop the stupidity.

    First of all, I’ll just answer your question. “why do we want to accect fatness?” Well, b/c some people are fat!!! Are you saying that you wouldn’t accept a person b/c they just so happen to be fat? Correction: Being fat is a human characteristic. Such as having blue eyes. Some people have blue eyes, and some people don’t. Some people are overweight, and some are not. See how that’s similar! Obesity IS a form of disease. You’re right about that, and it is a medical problem. As is Cancer. Do you not accept people who have cancer either? It is sad to see people who suffer from obesity, and it is becoming more common, BUT, it doesn’t give you or anyone else the right to tell them that they or their desease is unacceptable!
    You should think about putting a stop to THAT stupidity!
