I am sick to my stomach. Yeah, I just watched George W. Bush's speech to the American people about why he thinks we have the right to attack Iraq when they represent less of a threat to us than several other nations, North Korea and Cuba to be exact. How long has Castro been in power? And he's how close to the florida coastline? Just doesn't make any sense. Typical of the republicans.
Republicans have ruined the once great American democracy. They got all mad because President Clinton got his dilly whacked by a whore, yet, are perfectly at ease with killing innocent Iraqi civilians. Again, republicans boggle my eyes. Sex is bad? Killing is good? Get yourself in gear. Geez.
Haha, what a joke Bush made when he told the Iraqi civilians they are not his target! That's a bold face lie right there. I mean, does it really take 250,000+ US troops to handle just Saddam Hussein? Of course not, the rest are there to destroy the country. All we need to do is lay back, say we're gonna move on, then secretly (as opposed to correographing every one of our fucking moves like we're doing now) send a navy seal team to take saddam out. We don't need to go to war to remove one stupid man. War is needed when you have an entire country to fight. That is not the case here. Don't even kid yourselves.
I'm out, rack me.

Ha. In case you forgot, Bozzy, Clinton bombed Kosovo WITHOUT the UN's approval. At least Bush asked.
ReplyDeleteAlso, it's bad for Bush to kill Iraqis while trying to save them, but Saddam kiling innocent Iraqis is OK with you? Hmmm. Bush is such a bad leader compared to Saddam isn't he?
I believe it was Jimmy Carter who said that any nation that disrupts American oil supply is declaring war against America. Iraq poses a threat to America because AMERICA IS OIL DEPENDENT. Unless the entire country relieves America's oil dependency, THE OIL ISSUE IS AN IMPORTANT ISSUE. What are YOU, Bozzy, doing to relieve oil dependency? I'm sure YOU don't own an electric car. And I'm sure that your house isn't run off of clean energy.
I'm not for KILLING anyone. Saddam just needs to be removed from office. Anyways, we aren't allowed to kill him because of Jimmy Carters no-assasination law. However, war is a necessary evil. If it doesn't happen now, the war WILL happen within the next 3 years. People are going to die with or without America's action.
Has Iraq disrupted our oil supply? NO! That is NOT why prices are going up! If you followed the news at all, you would know about the oil worker strike down in South America, which happens to be where the majority of our oil comes from.
ReplyDeleteThis war isn't about oil.
Clinton just bombed Kosovo, it was never a war, thus, no approval was necessary, however, Bush never would have gone to the UN if the vast majority of the american pubic wasn't against him. See, Clinton at least had his own country behind him.
ReplyDeleteDo I own an electric car? Not yet, but I promise you, when I do, you can have a ride. :-D
I do own a Honda Accord which gets nearly 40 miles to the gallon, and only costs me 20 bucks to fill the tank to the top. :-)
ReplyDeleteYour argument is true. But... Search on google news for "gas prices" and let's see what you find.

Thanks very much. No applause needed.
THOSE articles are talking about FEARS, NOT REALITY! What's happening with the prices now is the oil strike in South America. If Iraq disrupts the little oil being imported here, it'll be because we stupidly attacked them. Don't bite the hand that feeds you, I guess...
ReplyDeleteuh... bozzy wins.
ReplyDeleteNice argument. That's the kind of argument Bush needs to hear so that he won't start a war.
ReplyDeleteLook, you antiwar protesters are going no where. Why don't you all come to your senses, get educated, get some decent jobs, stop DITCHING WORK AND SCHOOL, stop making independent films, stop bitching in your blogs, and stop bagging on the president?
i have a job... getting blowjobs from yo MA!
ReplyDeleteLOL, that was truly your best comment ever.
ReplyDeletedo like mister t, dont do school, stay in milk, and drink your drugs!
ReplyDeleteoh and by the way, i'm going to quit going to school just cuz you told me not too... and cuz i think it'll get the point across.
ReplyDeleteI am going to bitch all i want, as the famous song goes,
ReplyDeleteI HAVE THE POWER!!!!!!!!!
I can rant and rave
I can ditch uni for days
so SHOVE IT!!!
OK. From those arguments you've concluded that this war is not about oil. Why do you think the US is trying to "invade" Iraq? Do you think we want to PURPOSELY injure thousands of innocent people for NO REASON? Do you believe it's not right for the US kill a few thousand people in order to save THOUSANDS of more lives from the heinous reign of Saddam? If not for oil, the US is invading Iraq to save a LARGE GROUP of people. The US is invading Iraq to give struggling people a democracy, just like like the US struggled for democracy and got it. If we don't go to war with Iraq, I hope, Bozzy, that you can sleep better the next following nights knowing that you've deprived millions of people of a chance to rid a tyrant and win democracy. Sleep well dreaming of a better America while knowing that you've deprived a country of the freedom of "Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." Your opinions don't even matter anyways, 1. because you're immature; 2. Because it's you and whose army? Don't like it? Move to Iraq, things are much more enjoyable there.
ReplyDeleteread this:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.fortune.com/fortune/articles/0,15114,371663,00.html
The USA only gets 3.2% of it's oil from Iraq! That's nothing and not enough to raise prices if Iraq cuts us off. If anything, Iraq WANTS to do business with us. From their standpoint, they don't give us ENOUGH oil.
Still think it's about oil?
What's about it then? It's about 9/11. Bush wants revenge. Even though there is NO PROOF that Iraq was behind 9/11. Look, I am not a fucking peacenik. I am not against war. I am against THIS war. I am not against the war against Al Quaeda. But I am against bullying a small nation around just for the sake of us looking good because we were caught with our pants down on 9/11.
My opinions matter no more or less than yours do. I'm immature? Ye-uh, riiight, what makes you think that?
umm, none of you have it right. Keep in mind that in '91, Saddam invaded Kuwait. If the US hadn't intervened then, Iraq would probably have invaded all of the Arabian penninsula. Then he would be in possession of a lot more oil.
ReplyDeleteBut it's not the oil now. It's the fact that Iraq has a past history of unprovoked aggression, and continues to attempt to dominate the region.
The situation is somewhat similar to Europe in the 1930's. however, back then, no one wanted to stand up against Germany's aggression ... and look what happened.
look that's just like saying "we should kill those bastards because they COULD HAVE SOME BAD STUFF THAT COULD KILL US... even though we don't know yet, and the inspectors do, but they are slow and we don't want to wait, we want to kill them now, and take the chance that we're wrong, because we have trigger happy 30 year olds on the front line".
ReplyDeleteUm... Peace Prevails.
Can't we all just get along?
ReplyDeleteI second the motion!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you guys should go be human shields.
ReplyDeletebut we don know that they have some bad stuff that can kill us. They've been screwing around for 12 years trying to rearm. We have three choices: we can ignore Iraq, and let them do what they want. We can continue to work diplomatic channels ... for another 12 years. That might work. Or we can go and finish the job started in '91.
ReplyDeletehey Bozzy, read this:
ReplyDeleteTo Die List
1a. saddam hussein
1b. Osama bin Laden
2. charlton heston
3. the dc snipers
4. the yankees
5. dick clark
6. louis farakhan
7. major league baseball
8. dumb people
9. creed
10. boy bands
I wonder where the hell I got that from. Isn't it ironic how you hate people who kill other people, yet you list them on your TO DIE LIST? Anti-war? No, that's not the right word. Hypocrite? Probably.
If you took that list seriously, then you have some issues man.
ReplyDeleteBuxton-- Gee, I wonder why the job was never finished in 91...hmm makes you wonder, doncha think?
ReplyDeleteOh, and I'm supposed to take your opinions on war seriously now? That you've told me that your opinions are jokes? Take a journalism class. While you are at it, take history and US goverment classes as well. Oh wait, you ditch class to protest the war. Yah. great idea. Let's all get ignorant together while we protest this war.
ReplyDeleteDid I say my opinions were jokes? Did I say I ditched class to protest the war? Neither of those are true. The list is just for fun(ny), and I have never said I ditched class to protest war. Why don't you get back to the topic instead of attacking me...capeesh?
ReplyDeleteOK. War needs to happen. It will happen. Don't like it? Move to Iraq.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's the way to persuade somebody...
ReplyDeleteDale, if you don't like what you see or Bozzy's opinions (which he has a right to) why don't you just move the hell on!!
ReplyDeletenah, I like trying to enlighten people. lol :-D
ReplyDeleteYeah, and for the record, I am the only one who ditches uni for a protest, and believe me, I WILL PROTEST!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo anyway, I think that we should take widdle Bush and Blair and Howard, and stick 'em in the middle. Tie them to the ground with barbed wire, and then put them in the midddle, so they can see what war is like.
My parents we my age doing 'Nam. They protested before, and I will follow in their footsteps. War is obviously gonna happen, but I think that everyone should know that not everyone wants one. So, well, there's my view.
If you actually think that Cuba is a threat to Amercia than your head is further up your ass than I ever thought was humanly possible!!
ReplyDeleteAnd you thought about my ass previously? Wow...
