Malaguena Salerosa

I am in love with this song, from Kill Bill vol2, it just makes me want to dance. I have never been so in love with a song. Everything about this song is perfect. I wish I still knew spanish.

BUT. I do not. So there is babelfish.
That pretty eyes you have Underneath those two eyebrows Underneath
those two eyebrows That pretty eyes you have.

They want to me to watch But if your you do not leave them But if your
you not even let them blink.

Salerosa Malaguena Besar your lips wanted To kiss your lips wanted.
Beautiful salerosa Malaguena and decirte nina.

That you are lin........da and wizard, Who you are pretty and wizard
Like the candor of a rose.

If by poor man you despise I to me I grant to reason I grant reason to
you If by poor man you despise to me.

I do not offer wealth to you I offer my heart to You I offer my heart
to You In exchange for my poverty.

Salerosa Malaguena Besar your lips wanted To kiss your lips wanted.
Beautiful salerosa Malaguena and decirte nina.

That you are lin........da and wizard, Who you are pretty and wizard
Like the candor of a rose. And decirte nina beautiful.

  1. I just wanted to tell you that this song has been driving me mad for months. I love Latin music in general, but the first time I've heard this song I had a fit of hysterics (as you can tell I'm a female) but I literraly laughed and cried at the same time. It has actually inspired me to write a new script (again, obvious I'm a screen writer). I wrote to you probably because I just haven't met anyone yet who feels this song as deeply as I do. I play it for my friends from film school, and they're like....der...it's good, but no emotion. The whole CD by Chingon is great. That's actually what I'm listening to right now :))) Anyway, that's all I had to say. ;)

if you like this song soo much..i suggest u listen to the acoustic version one by paco de lucia, it was a bit slow..but without words, those melodies will touch your heart deeper..

  3. I grew up in Colombia and now live in Mozambique. About ten years ago, I was having dinner at a little restaurant run by an Ethiopian lady. A latin CD was playing (a group called Los Paraguayos) and I was basking in nostalgia when Malaguena Salerosa came on. I was smitten! I asked the lady if I could borrow the CD and I recorded it onto a cassette that I kept in my car and played over and over. Then one day the car was broken into and the tape was stolen along with the stereo. I went back to the Ethiopian lady and asked if I could borrow the CD again. She told me her restaurant had been robbed and they had taken the CD! Since that time I have been on a quest for that particular rendition of MS by Los Paraguayos. I found one of their CD's in a shop in the duty free terminal at Amsterdam, and a double album in the states, but none of them had what I was looking for. I have heard many different renditions of the song since then, from Paco to the Tubes(!!) but they all pale in comparison. I'm still looking. And if you like MS, try also Cucurucucu Paloma on the Talk to Her soundtrack. Magic!

  4. There must be something with this song. I remember it from 70s. Since then and especially recently I am chasing it. Last trace is hint from radio station that says: Malaguena Salerosa performed by Los Anheles. Google did not show any hint. It is not Chingon, Tubes, Seltzer, Paco (very very good). Now I am looking for Los Paraguayos version...

  5. I joined just to give the answer to the Los Paraguayos version... it is on their "Amor Amor Amor" album. Song number 2 if I am not mistaken. It is definately a nice version of the song. Hope that helps somebody who ends up here... };-)

  6. I went on Limewire after an extensive search to find the version of Malaguena Salerosa by Los Angeles and finally found it. I think it's one of the best versions, in my opinion.
